LVN Program Enrolling – Starts Jan 30, 2017
It’s Your Turn Now! Give Yourself the Gift of Education – Our Nursing Program is Enrolling Now and Starts Monday, January 30, 2017
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics ranks Vocational Nursing among the fastest growing occupations over the 2014-2024 decade. Employment is projected to grow 16% – much faster than the average job ranking.
The Vocational Nursing program at High Desert Medical College will prepare you to enter one of the fastest-growing professions in the health care industry. Training only takes 13 months. HDMC helps ensure our students can enter the job market successfully with a program involving classroom and hands-on training. Federal Financial Aid is available to those who qualify as well as job placement assistance upon graduation.
As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will be part of a health care delivery team, providing basic nursing care, administering medications, health assessment, documenting a patient’s signs and symptons as well as carrying out therapeutic and rehabilitative measures. LVNs care for people who are sick, injured, convalescent, or disabled under the support direction of physicians and registered nurses.
